Bupa UK has commenced a drive to showcase its healthcare expertise and range of products and services.

Working with WCRS the private healthcare provider has launched two adverts to demonstrate how Bupa meets healthcare needs by supporting people through combining expert guidance with emotional support and care.

The first of the two adverts, ‘Cancer survivorship programme’, highlights that for Bupa customers with cancer the support doesn’t disappear once treatment ends.

The second advert, ‘Elderly care support line’, focuses on the importance of making the right decisions on elderly care and how Bupa offers advice on sensitive subjects such as finding a care home and how to pay for care.

“Our new campaign highlights that Bupa has the healthcare expertise to go above and beyond just paying the bill,” explained Bupa UK marketing, sales and strategy director, Saj Arshad.

“With people’s expectations of healthcare providers changing, it is essential that they understand the breadth of our offering. The services highlighted in these advertisements are just two examples of how we support our customers with their wider healthcare needs.”

Matt Edwards, chief executive of WCRS, added: “Few things we communicate have the emotional weight of cancer survivorship and elderly care, so we’re proud WCRS has helped promote Bupa’s expert support in these areas.”

The campaign will run until 22 February with other channels extending into March 2015. Bupa Care Services and Bupa Health Funding will also be launching activity aligned with the campaign spanning direct mail, press and door drops.
