Following Intermarketing Agency’s recent acquisition of Teabag, the creative agency is to launch a new stand alone division, Intermarketing Digital, which will be headed up by former Madebypi director Karen Lewis.

The new brand brings Intermarketing Agency’s existing digital team and the newly employed team of thirteen Teabag employees together under one identity.

Intermarketing Digital is integral to the future proposition of Intermarketing Agency, however agency owners Jamie Allan and Steve Sowden hope that with its own branding, Intermarketing Digital will also have its own stake and presence in the ever-evolving digital market.

Head of digital Lewis leads the new Intermarketing Digital department, with former Teabag directors Liam Grogan, Stuart Baker and Adam Blain also taking senior positions as director of digital projects, director of motion and digital creative director respectively.

The entire team will be based at Intermarketing Agency’s head office in Headingley. Teabag brings additional services such as website and application design and build and further bespoke technical resources to support Intermarketing Agency’s continued digital growth.

Additionally, there will be a newly created motion department, led by Stuart Baker and Paul Farquharson. This diverse team of motion, video and content experts will deliver an improved product offering within this increasingly demanded discipline. Areas such as rich online content, animation, TV ads, short films, music videos, documentaries, product visualisation and corporate videos will be managed with a complete end-to-end solution that backs into Intermarketing Agency’s unwavering focus on service and delivery.

The team has a niche skill set with a very broad output. Having learned to excel in all areas of motion, they are flexible to suit any requirements including architectural animation, character and product animation, idents, 3D and film motion. Coupled with Intermarketing Agency’s video and film talent, this is very exciting. The creation of Intermarketing Digital is a significant progression for Intermarketing Agency, and positions them as one of the few genuinely integrated creative agencies with full in-house capabilities.

Lewis, said: “Exciting times are ahead! Intermarketing Digital offers clients unrivalled experience, award-winning client service and creative, our combined talents and additional in-house capabilities truly set us apart from other more specialist agencies. We’re extremely proud and passionate about what we do and fun to work with.”

Stuart Baker, commented: “It’s eleven years since we founded Teabag and we’re very proud of our success, our team, our clients, the skills we have developed and the work we’ve produced. We’re excited to join Intermarketing Agency and become Intermarketing Digital.

Liam Grogan, commented: “The move provides an opportunity to build on our achievements and become part of a wider, integrated and established strategic marketing agency, working with a greater mix of clients and some leading global brands. We firmly believe that Intermarketing Digital will offer our existing and new clients the best digital and motion services in the business.”
