The Institute of Promotional Marketing (IPM) has bolstered its board of directors with the appointment of the managing director of partnership marketing agency Mediator Tara Honeywell.

The IPM is the trade body which represents the interests of promoters, agencies and service partners engaged in promotional marketing and has some 300 members, drawn from brand owners, marketing agencies and service partners.

Honeywell took over the MD reigns at Camden-based Mediator in July 2013 and since then has set about raising the profile of partnership marketing as a legitimate marketing channel for brands.

Honeywell joins existing IPM board members representing brands, agencies and service providers, including Coca-Cola, Kellogg’s, BSkyB and Haygarth.

Commenting on her appointment Honeywell said: “Mediator has been a member of the Institute of Promotional Marketing for a number of years now and with a renewed focus on adapting to a fast moving consumer led environment I’m very excited to be part of what is to come in the years ahead.”
