A video of a young boy's private parts going viral might not be what you expect from the NSPCC, but that's exactly what happens in one of the children’s charity's two animations to be shown on prime time TV and digital spaces as part of its Share Aware campaign.

The first animation - Have you seen Alex’s willy?’ - reveals the dangers behind sharing intimate images on services like Snapchat, and how quickly things can escalate.

The second ‘Lucy and the Boy’ tells the cautionary tale of a young girl who shares a little too much online with a stranger.

The engaging films highlight the risks of social media to children and parents in an easily understandble way and with children using mobile phones and tablets from a very young age getting across the Share Aware message is increasingly important.
