VisitEngland has launched the ‘Discover Your England’ TV campaign to raise awareness of the country’s beauty on the eve of it hosting the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

The 60-second slot was shot in 4K by Rich Thrift of Channel 5 Creative. Gary Marjoram was responsible for its art direction deciding to include the unofficial English anthem ‘Jerusalem’.

Locations showcased in the ad include Hadrian’s Wall, the Tyne Bridge, Brighton Pier, the Yorkshire Dales, Bath’s Royal Crescent, Tower Bridge and Twickenham.

The all-English cast features among others: former England rugby Captain, Martin Corry MBE, England Rugby head coach, Stuart Lancaster, Rugby World Cup 2014 winner, Maggie Alphonsi MBE and official anthem singer and English soprano Laura Wright.

The ad will premiere during Channel 5 with Big Brother at 9.30pm on Sunday 11 January.

VisitEngland is the England’s national tourist board tasked planning national tourism strategy.
