Newcastle Brown Ale has taken to the field early in the 2015 Super Bowl run with a spoof version of Doritos ‘Crash the Super Bowl’ campaign of last year.

With tongue firmly in cheek the brewer responded to a request for filmmakers to produce and submit video ads for the Doritos brand by producing a sketch that merely highlighted its own product.

A follow-up to last year’s ‘Mega Huge Football Game’ ad, part of its ‘If We Made It Campaign’, which sought to illustrate how the beer firm would go about marketing itself at the Super Bowl – if it could afford it.

Its latest attempt to elbow onto the bandwagon for pennies is titled ‘Chores – (un)official snack chip contest submission’.
