Reddit saw considerable growth in 2014 boasting a staggering 71.25bn page views in a year which saw the site come under scrutiny for its lack of content regulation.

Reddit relies upon its communities to create content
The reader contributed news site and forum saw a reported 71.25 billion page views, boosted by over 8,000 niche online communities, the Reddit blog announced on Friday.
In the twelve months, the content browsing site saw 54.9 million posts and 535 million comments.
Despite these staggering figures however, the site came under fire as its forums were one of the mediums through which web users spread stolen images of celebrities, including Jennifer Lawrence, in the ‘Fappening’ scandal in September.
The site was founded in 2005 and last September secured over $50m of funding.
