The reader contributed news site and forum saw a reported 71.25 billion page views, boosted by over 8,000 niche online communities, the Reddit blog announced on Friday.

In the twelve months, the content browsing site saw 54.9 million posts and 535 million comments.

Despite these staggering figures however, the site came under fire as its forums were one of the mediums through which web users spread stolen images of celebrities, including Jennifer Lawrence, in the ‘Fappening’ scandal in September.
