The Blueprint has created a new role within its senior team - head of identification – and appointed Philippa Embleton to lead search and talent identification support to all The Blueprint advisors.

Embleton's role will be to work alongside the team of advisors to develop the briefs when the need for new progressive talent has been agreed. The process will be to focus on honing and developing a tightly defined brief, identifying any gaps and then building a targeted shortlist.

Embleton said: “Having spent time in the industry I really felt there was a need for a new way, an alternative to the traditional process of helping agencies search for and appoint talent. The Blueprint’s blend of business design, coaching and progressive talent identification is completely fresh and very appealing.”

Gareth Moss, managing director of The Blueprint, said: “Our goal is to accelerate change in the modern communications world by helping to build the agencies and brands of today and tomorrow. To do this we need world-class people on our own team. Philippa shares our view of the world and will provide an essential role within the business.”

The Blueprint work with clients around the world, including AKQA, AMV BBDO, BBH, Edelman, FullSix, Huge, R/GA, Razorfish, RKCR, Sid Lee, The Marketing Store, Pernod Ricard, VML, We Are Social and 72andSunny.
