Shop Direct Group launches full-screen games console campaign with Studio Mashbo

December 17, 2014 | 2 min read has launched an online campaign, “Which console are you?”, designed to showcase the powers and differences between Sony's Playstation 4 and Microsoft's X-Box One.

The new campaign, developed by digital agency Studio Mashbo, has seen switching to a full-screen user experience for the first time to promote the world's two leading games consoles. The interactive infographic aims to attract a new audience to the brand, owned by Shop Direct, while providing visitors an overview of the key features offered by both consoles, along with some interesting stats and figures related the history of the devices.

Shop Direct SEO technical lead Stefan Mustieles said: “The new 'Which console are you?' linkable asset is a key part of our customer engagement strategy as part of Shop Direct's continued growth as one of the UK's leading online retailers.”

Studio Mashbo managing director Gavin Sherratt commented: “Working alongside has allowed us to work with two massive global brands – Microsoft and Sony - while also continuing our relationship with Shop Direct. We’re especially pleased that Shop Direct allowed us to break away from their traditional online framework and go full screen.”

Shop Direct and Studio Mashbo will work continue to develop new concepts together in 2015 as a part of their ongoing consultancy agreement.
