Patrick Bjorkman has rejoined Equator in the role of creative director.

As creative director Bjorkman will oversee the agency’s 18-strong design and creative team working on accounts including MacDonald Hotels, Tesco Bank, AXA, Disney and SSE.

Of the news Equator’s co-founder James Jefferson commented: “We are privileged to have Patrick back on the Equator team. He is truly one of the country’s best creative minds and I am excited about introducing him to our clients and the valuable contribution he will undoubtedly make to our projects, team development and the on-going growth of Equator.”

Bjorkman added that it was great to be back at the agency and said his role was to help the team continue to produce “exceptional work” and “push the standards up even higher”. Bjorkman previously worked at Equator as assistant creative director from 2007 until 2010 and left to take on the role of creative director at Peach Digital.

The appointment sees Jefferson take on a chief creative officer role, working on the wider strategy of the business and focussing on growing its New York and Glasgow offices.
