PR firm Weber Shandwick Manchester has promoted two of its senior management team, following the most successful twelve months in the agency’s 17-year history.

Jessica Wilkinson has been promoted to the post of associate director and will lead the corporate team, while Anna Varley Jones takes up the role of associate director consumer marketing, heading up the consumer team at the Castlefield office.

Jo Leah, managing director and chair English regions & Wales, said: “Our industry has entered a new era and we have evolved to meet the changing needs of our clients. Anna and Jessica’s promotions highlight the multi-skilled, creative and dynamic leaders we need to future-proof our team.

“They have both played an integral role to the growth of their respective portfolios within the agency and have been instrumental in pushing the agency to its most successful year to date.”

Weber Shandwick Manchester saw year-on-year revenue growth of 10 per cent in 2014 and account wins including Bernard Matthews, Better Retailing, National Trust and Lasenby Knox, in addition to organic growth across existing accounts.
