Fitness First is set to sponsor The Cancer Research UK London Winter Run, a winter-themed 10km route to raise money for the charity, and help support runners in their training.

Taking place on 1 February, the London-based route, organised by The Human Race, will pass by attractions including the London Eye, Tower of London and Tower Bridge.

Fitness First’s Giant Snow Ball Warm-Up will precede the event to prepare runners for the route

Martin Seibold, UK managing director Fitness First, commented: “We are committed to helping individuals achieve their goals and explore new ways of challenging themselves and we look forward to working closely with The Human Race and The Cancer Research UK London Winter Run team to support their runners and Fitness First members who also wish to take part.”

After the race runners will receive hugs from ‘Polar Bears’ a finish time text to their mobile and a place at the Fitness First Cool Down Zone.
