Air Wick has looked to help American soldiers serving abroad over the Christmas period by capturing the scent of their home and sending the fragrance across.

The campaign, directed by Über's Keith Ehrlich with the creative direction of Droga5 New York, saw the scent of the Fellers household, a military family of eight, captured and sent to husband and father Kearen Feller, who has been serving at the Qatar Air Force Base for the past 11 months.

Air Wick used smells such as the broken-in baseball that had been passed down for generations, the family fire and the family recipe for apple pie to create a custom Feller family candle collection.

Receiving the candles, Kearen Feller said “this smells like home”.
