Scottish Fire and Rescue Service turn to social to encourage public to fit smoke alarms
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has launched a social media campaign to encourage people to get a smoke alarm this winter.
Created by The Union, the ad looks to highlight the dangers of not having a fire alarm.
Michael Hart, creative director at Union, said: “A smoke alarm could save the lives of the people you care most about. We created a film that dramatises that point as simply and starkly as possible.”
Raising awareness of the fact that there is over 5,000 house fires in Scotland a year, the ad aims to reduce the number of fire related deaths each year in Scotland.
