Total Media names James Duffy as head of digital

Total Media has appointed James Duffy, previously digital director at Havas, to join the media planning company as head of digital.

Taking up his role on 8 December, Duffy will head up Total Media’s 30-person strong digital department, which includes overseeing PPC and SEO, online display, mobile, programmatic trading and social media.

He said: “One of the most exciting aspects of specialising in digital media is the continually evolving platforms and new innovations. There are some exciting opportunities to be sourced to benefit clients including delivering increased reach through video advertising and syncing TV and digital media with automated optimisation. Our clients can expect to see digital innovation with a genuine return on marketing investment in 2015.”

Duffy has also been tasked with driving the agency’s data proposition, service innovation and seamless integration between the digital and broadcast teams.
