The Drum's Profile Hub Round Up: The Co-operative Energy, Formaplex, London Business Directory 2015, Clancy Group
Here is this week’s round up of creativity from The Drum’s Profile Hub, where it’s seen one of the busiest week’s of activity since launching earlier this year.
This is a selection of a few campaigns and pieces of design work to feature over the last seven days.
AGA & Everhot Press Adverts: Diagram Design & Marketing
TN Cook, one of AGA and Everhot’s longest retailers, who tasked Diagram Design & Marketing with creating a campaign that would reflect the quality of its high end cooker range.
The agency chose to let “let the picture tell the story” and so created A5 and A4 ads that featured strong photography to reflect the quality of the product and appeal to potential target customers.
Front cover design for the new London Business Directory: Davidson Williams
Davidson Williams showed off its work in producing the design of the front cover of the new London Business Directory for 2015.
Shine Creative: Clancy Docwra - 'Work Safe = Home Safe'
Construction contactor Clancy Group, having introduced a policy to make it mandatory for workers to wear personal protective equipment on all sites, tasked Shine Creative create a link between wearing the equipment as part of their daily work routine and a safe environment.
This led the agency to respond with bespoke illustration style material which would provide nationwide employees with the guidelines through concise messaging and a storyboard format. The illustrations aimed to fully engage each member of the company’s workforce with the initiative and offer clear guidance at the same time.
The Co-Operative Energy: The Blueberry Wave
The Co-Operative Energy tasked The Blueberry Wave with helping it drive awareness and increase sales using data driven targeting and media testing across five regions of England.
Alongside the awareness challenge, the company was also asked to to recruit ‘good quality’ customers and gain an understanding of the media that could help drive a sales uplift.
This led to the initiation of a strategy that began with the use of modelled data in order to locate a target prospect pool, while profiling through demography, life stage, geography and affluence helped develop a targeted media spend focus for the awareness raising campaign.
After this, below-the-line activity and direct communications were implemented, testing different versions by geography in order to develop an understanding of the influence the material could have.
The final stage of the campaign saw a national survey posted online before, during and after the campaign in a bid to measure the level of awareness campaigns across the targeting regions and the UK generally.
