Young Innovator Nominee: Raj Singh, Dronecast, Singh Ventures, Nomocab

Raj Singh

Current gig: CEO, Dronecast / Singh Ventures / Nomocab

Why he is nominated: Two years ago, at the beginning of the drone craze Raj decided to step it up a notch by attaching a vertical banner to a custom made drone - allowing for aerial indoor advertising. He was the first in the world to try this practice out and, since then, Dronecast has become a popular choice for people looking for innovative advertisements. Since the lift of certain FAA regulations dronevetising has gotten even bigger, with Dronecast being the leader in the industry.

Raj's passion for advertising didn't stop there, as he began to work on a new venture Nomocab, an ad based car service. The idea is to wrap the car in an advertisement, allowing the riders to use the service completely free of charge since the company paying for the ad would cover the cost of the driver and other related fees. He recently sold Nomocab to an undisclosed party.

Raj is also the CEO of Singh Ventures, which has invested in numerous ad-tech companies. He has a passion for mentoring those who join on under his incubator, since he has a deep understanding of how difficult it can be starting out as an entrepreneur.

The Young Innovator Award celebrates excellence and innovation by young professionals. See the other nominees and their backgrounds and check back to learn who has won this prestigious honor from The Advertising Club of New York and Google, with support from The Drum.
