Anda Gansca

Current gig: CEO & founder, Knotch

Why she is nominated: Anda Gansca, founder and CEO of Knotch, was born an innovator, raised by a family of entrepreneurs. A Transylvania native, Anda moved to the US upon being accepted to Stanford University, where she earned a double major in Economics and International Relations and developed a passion for data analysis.

During her time as an undergrad at Stanford University, Anda was involved in the founding of three organizations that served the greater good: Emerging Silicon Valleys, Stanford US-Russia Forum, and New Horizons. Anda’s passion and entrepreneurial success is a testament to her innovative spirit and her eagerness to turn a business need into a reality.

This experience and passion led her to start Knotch, the leading independent provider of real-time intelligence on digital marketing. In September 2016, Knotch raised $10M in Series A funding led by private investors including GE vice chair Beth Comstock, digital media executive Jon Miller and entrepreneurs Michael and Xochi Birch. When Anda started Knotch, she saw an opportunity to not only capture consumer emotions about a brand, but also to provide brands with the transparency they need into their digital marketing efforts.

In September 2016, Knotch launched the Knotch Intelligence Suite for Brands, which is comprised of three primary components: Measurement, Knowledge and Wisdom. With Knotch, brands gain access to pre- and post- campaign intelligence for their own digital marketing efforts as well as valuable insights into the strategy of their competitors and partners.

Anda is passionate about this industry and enjoys dedicating her spare time to educating others, most recently speaking at major events including the DLD Conference, Forbes CMO Summit, and Advertising Week. Anda also works one-on-one with aspiring entrepreneurs, advising them on fundraising, product, strategy, and hiring, in addition to serving as a mentor and judge for the Stanford incubator, StartX. She is a regular thought leadership contributor to the trade media and industry at-large, and she has been named to both Inc. and Forbes’ annual 30-Under-30 lists.
