Skeletor 'conquers' Honda's social channels in dastardly takeover prank
He-Man’s nemesis Skeletor has staged an online takeover of Honda’s website and Twitter accounts.
At first many thought the account, which has half a million followers, was the victim of an ingenious cyber-attack.
However, the Japanese car firm later saw Skeletor invade its US website as part of a retro promotional push for its cars deals.
On the firm's Twitter page, Skeletor changed the Honda bio, it now reads: "It is I, Skeletor! Master of the Universe, Internet, and now Honda’s Twitter Account! Prepare to experience my evil in 140 characters or less!! Muahaha!!!"
Furthermore, the villain saw high social engagement with a series of relevant and tenacious tweets.
