The Social Buzz Top 50 countdown continues: numbers 40 to 31 revealed

With the Social Buzz Awards taking place on Thursday 27 November, The Drum has started revealing its Social Buzz Top 50 – a list of the most influential people in the UK social media marketing arena.

We asked readers to nominate individuals excelling in social media marketing, with the longlist of nominees passed to some of this year's Social Buzz Awards judges to decide who made the list and the order of the Top 50. Judging was based on leadership and innovation in the sector, as well as the overall contribution made to the industry.

Each day this week, we are publishing teasers with a countdown of who made the list. The number one individual also named Social Media Individual of the Year at the Social Buzz Awards.

The countdown began yesterday with the announcement of numbers 50 to 41, including names from the Telegraph, Telefonica, Boots UK and Asos.

The full list will be published online on Friday 28 November, and will include profiles on each of the 50 individuals.

For now, we count down numbers 40 to 31:
