Lewis Hamilton celebrated picking up the F1 World Championship with the launch of four fan-footage documentaries showing real-time fan hype shot via mobile.

The four-part series, created by a digital studio the Rumpus Room, saw fans submit footage using a mobile web app in the run-up to the title-deciding race at Abu Dhabi on Sunday.

The footage had a quick turnaround with the #TeamLHmovie being submitted mere hours after the race. Creating a collage of the diversity and emotion of Lewis Hamilton fans the final entry received over a million views on Facebook alone.

Lewis Hamilton said: “For my fans, I always say we win and we lose together. We’ve asked for a series of clips from fans this week and when I saw it, something happened in my heart.

“They’ve been through thick and thin with me, they make it even more special being at the top and they make me believe I can do anything. A big thank you to them."

The campaign was activated after Hamilton requested his seven million Twitter fans submit footage last week.
