Before the Auld Enemies met at Celtic Park on Tuesday night, there was another score to settle as the marketing industry hosted its own England vs Scotland football match.

Organised by The Drum and Propeller PR and held in Shoreditch hours before the two national teams met for real, the industry match was a considerably closer affair than the proper England team's 3-1 victory in Scotland later that night.

The industry England team raced into an early lead but valiant second half Scots pressure saw the match finish with an incredible 12-12 scoreline.

And as well as serving up a feast of football, the players from across the industry also raised £138 for charity by donating their match fees to Amnesty International.

The Drum's Cameron Clarke, who led out the Scotland team, said: "A massive thanks goes out to Ben Titchmarsh at Propeller and all the players who took part for making this such a great afternoon.

"The game itself was far closer than the real England v Scotland clash and I think we'll struggle to resist calls for a rematch. Bring on the next one."
