Former editor-in-chief of Future Publishing-owned consumer brand T3, Kieran Alger, has been appointed to the same role at content marketing agency Mediablaze to boost its editorial team.
In his new position, Alger will oversee propositions for brands including LG, Tesco, outdoor apparel brand Merrell, and global antivirus software provider ESET, and will be responsible for building communities through the development of branded online content strategies.
Commenting on his appointment Alger said that moving agency-side “was an obvious next step" for him.
“The Mediablaze approach represents the future, using the best creative talent to engage audiences with fantastic content. It’s an exciting challenge and provides a fantastic opportunity for me to continue to combine two of my passions – sports and technology – with publishing and content marketing.”
In addition to his role at T3, Alger worked on a freelance basis for Men’s Health UK and also held the position of senior editor, Sport and Men at AOL UK.
