Durex and MTV’s Staying Alive Foundation have teamed up with celebrities including Enrique Iglesias and David Hasselhoff to promote the two companies' joint social movement, Someone Like Me, which promotes safe sex and better sex education across social media.

A YouTube video, which also includes Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattinson, was filmed backstage at the 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards, and sees the celebrities debunk myths around sex and discuss how their lives have been personally affected by STIs such as HIV.

Volker Sydow, global category director sexual wellbeing at Durex, commented: “The celebrities we spoke to all talked about the importance of dialogue in the campaign to promote safe sex. We consider their participation a great step in promoting this global dialogue and we’re thrilled that Someone Like Me can have a role to play in positively impacting the lives of young people around the world.”

Other celebrities taking part include French Vine star, Jerome Jarre and Indo-Canadian YouTube sensation Lilly Singh.
