JWT London has appointed Tom O’Donnell as event director of its in-house event arm JWT Live.
O’Donnell joins the agency after 15 years working across the globe for the likes of Samsung, Sony, Ford, MTV, Condé Nast and Selfridges. More recently for JWT, O’Donnell helped lead the creation of a kinetic football pitch in Brazil for Shell, a project he said led to the decision to join the team on a permanent basis.

“We can do everything in-house. As advertising becomes more real world, and events become more about creating advertising content, JWT are in the perfect place lead this exciting, ever-changing industry.”
O’Donnell will report to Jonathan Terry, head of JWT Live and focus on growing the event and experiential business within the JWT client base, as well as an external push for new clients, while continuing his work on Shell.
