ESPN promotes Seth Ader to VP of marketing

ESPN has promoted Seth Ader to vice president of marketing.

Ader, who has been at ESPN since 2001, previously served as senior director of marketing, overseeing the marketing efforts for the NFL, Fantasy Football, NBA, MLB and English Premier League as well as the 2006, 2010, and 2014 Fifa World Cups.

“Seth is a mature and thoughtful executive with keen marketing and creative skills,” said Aaron Taylor, senior vice president of marketing. “He is a strong manager who inspires creativity in his team and is a champion of good ideas."

He now oversees marketing for all league sports properties on ESPN including golf, tennis, the New York City Marathon and Special Olympics World Games.

Prior to ESPN, Ader’s previous roles included vice president of marketing of Book4Golf.com, director of marketing and public relations for Tear Drop/Tommy Armour Golf Co, and sales manager for Conde Nast Publications.
