Responsible gambling body Senet Group names The Corner for advertising account

Senet Group, the body for responsible gambling, has appointed The Corner as its advertising account, following a competitive pitch process against Karmarama and Grey London.

The body was set up by Ladbrokes, Coral, William Hill and Paddy Power in response to public concerns on gambling, especially the advertising of gambling.

A spokesperson for Senet said: “After a close contest, we have appointed The Corner as our ad agency and look forward to working with them. They have some great ideas.”

From January 2015, the body and its members will commit to all TV advertising carrying more prominent responsible gambling messages.

Senet itself is also set to launch a major advertising campaign at the start of 2015, believed to be the first work that The Corner will create.

The pitch process was handled by Oystercatchers.
