DDB Spain's Fernando Barbella and BBH London's Alex Ball join JWT London

JWT London has announced the appointments of former DDB Spain executive creative director Fernando Barbella and BBH London’s Alex Ball.

Barbella joins JWT London in the role of creative director and will oversee the agency’s Microsoft business. At DDB Spain Barbella worked with clients including Audi, VW and Movistar and after beginning his career in 1996 has spent time with OgilvyInteractive Argentina and OgilvyInteractive Latina South where he held the role of creative director.

Ball joins JWT London as senior creative after five years at BBH London working across clients including Barnardo’s, British Airways and Johnnie Walker.

Prior to BBH Ball worked with the likes of Typhoo and Tango at Clemmow Hornby where he spent more than three years before moving to Publicis for almost four years working the Cadbury Wispa, Army and P&G accounts.

JWT London, executive creative partner, Russell Ramsey, said of the appointments: “Fernando and Alex are very talented and very nice people. I am delighted to have them on board.”

Earlier this week JWT London revealed the Debenhams Christmas 2014 campaign - ‘Found It’.
