Romeo Beckham, son of celebrity couple David and Victoria Beckham, is to play a leading role in Burberry’s Christmas campaign by assuming the role of cupid on the streets of London.

‘From London with love’ will see the 12-year old child actor don Burberry’s trademark check before dancing around the streets to dish out the love bug to couples.

To jazz things up a troupe of female dancers are choreographed with dapper gentlemen to spread the mood of romance.

Christopher Bailey, Burberry CEO and chief creative officer described the piece as "a celebration of everything we love at Burberry; the trench coat, the cashmere scarf, incredible music, our British weather, and working with great and talented people.

“It continues to be an utter joy working with Romeo. He has charm, style and great energy! I'm delighted that he's the lead role in our festive campaign."

Amongst those to attend the premiere were proud parents Victoria and David Beckham. Romeo first collaborated with the fashion house in its spring/summer print campaign when he was just 10 years old.
