The Drum recruits Marketing Week's Seb Joseph as senior reporter

The Drum has appointed Marketing Week reporter and Centaur's Editorial Individual of the Year for 2013, Seb Joseph as senior reporter.

Joseph will join the PPA's Media Brand of the Year in November after two years with Marketing Week, which he joined as part of a move from New Media Age in September 2011.

In the new role, Joseph will be tasked with supporting news editor Jessica Davies in running the reporting team of The Drum and covering breaking industry news.

Speaking on the appointment, The Drum’s online editor, Stephen Lepitak commented: “It’s fantastic to be able to bring Seb into the fold here and we’re all very excited to start working with him. I’ve seen him develop to become an excellent reporter in recent years and I look forward to adding his enthusiasm and knowledge of the industry to the team.”

The appointment follows recent announcements on that of former Design Week editor Lynda Relph Knight as consulting design editor, and the promotion of Dave Birss to head of TV, where he will oversee The Drum’s video content.
