Today marks the publication of The Drum Digerati, an annual list celebrating the UK's top digital achievers.

Launched in 2013 to celebrate the most influential individuals in digital marketing, the Digerati, now in its second year, recognises the contribution made by 100 key players in this fast changing space.

After inviting the industry and our readers to tell us who they admire most in the industry, we put the list of hundreds of nominations before an an independent panel of digital experts – drawn from the pool of Dadi Awards judges – to refine them into a workable shortlist. A public vote then decided the final 100 and how they should be ranked.

Laura Jordan Bambach, as we announced at the Dadi Awards earlier this month, made it to number one position in this year's Digerati – earning her the award of Individual of the Year at the Dadis. Currently creative partner at Mr. President, Bambach was named by D&AD as president for 2013/2014, and is also the co-founder and director of SheSays, an international volunteer-led organisation supporting women in digital creative careers.

Joining her in the top 100 are individuals from a variety of backgrounds – from tech companies like Google and Facebook, to agencies, publishers and brands. All have one thing in common: an unfailing commitment to digital.

SapientNitro's European managing director, Nigel Vaz, who was ranked top in last year's Digerati, makes it into second place this year. Vaz has led the company to become the largest independent agency in the UK, and was this year elected to the management board of The Marketing Society.

Matt Candy, European leader of IBM Interactive Experience, ranks third. Having worked at IBM for 17 years, Candy has spent the last year leading its digital agency Interactive Experience across Europe.

The rest of the top 10 comprises VivaKi's Marco Bertozzi, Paul Frampton of Havas Media, Deirdre McGlashan of MediaCom, Twitter's Bruce Daisley, Poke's Nick Farnhill and Daniele Fiandaca of Creative Social. The list of all 100 can be found on the Digerati microsite.

In addition to the publication of the online list, we have also produced a printed supplement, available with today's issue of The Drum (15 October edition) or to purchase in The Drum Store. The supplement profiles the successes and achievements of each of the 100 individuals.
