The review for the £20m account, which started in July, was handled by the London office of Roth Observatory International, with WCRS being in the final two for the account win.

Mat Goff, managing director at Adam & Eve DDB, said “We are thrilled to have been appointed by McCain. They are a great business with a great team and we are really excited about getting stuck in.”

At the time, McCain Foods told The Drum it was reviewing its creative requirements “in light of the changing nature of its needs from an agency partner”.

Mark Hodge, marketing director at McCain Foods, said: “This is an exciting new chapter for our brand and one we are very excited about. From our very first meeting Adam & Eve DDB have impressed us with their thinking and ideas. We are really looking forward to working with them. At the same time it is also important to acknowledge and thank BMB for the significant contribution they have made to our business over the last 8 years.

The account had been held by BMB in the UK for eight years.
