Instagram creates ‘off the beaten track’ travel recommendations with Herb Lester Associates

Instagram has teamed with boutique travel brand Herb Lester Associates for the creation of a series of city guides featuring ‘off the beaten track’ travel recommendations.

Guides for Paris, Berlin and London have already been launched, with the aim to explore cities through photography created by Instagrammers in each city.

Hannah Waldram, community manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Instagram, said: “The Instagram community in these three cities, as well as others all over Europe, is evergrowing and incredibly diverse.

“These guides encompass everything which is delightful, surprising, inspiring and exciting about the Instagram community and how it can show you a window to a new place, and how Instagrammers can take you on a tour of their local area. I hope people will not only find them useful, but also use them as a starting point to discovering a world of wonder, and top location recommendations, on Instagram.”

The guides were made available during the Instagram’s InstaMeet weekend of 4 and 5 October.
