Laura Jordan Bambach, creative partner at Mr. President, has been named Individual of the Year 2014 at the Dadis, The Drum Awards for the Digital Industries.

Laura Jordan Bambach

The award follows Bambach being voted number one in The Drum's Digerati, ranking the UK's top 100 most influential digital individuals.

Originally from Australia, she moved to the UK in 2000 after transferring from Deepend’s Sydney office to its London HQ, and has since worked at a variety of agencies including Lateral, I-D Media, Glue, LBi, Dare, and most recently, Mr. President, since October 2013.

She was named by D&AD as president for 2013/2014, and is also co-founder and director of SheSays – an international volunteer organisation launched to encourage more women to take up digital creative careers, which now operates in 22 cities across the globe. Bambach succeeds the 2013 winner, SapientNitro's Nigel Vaz, in collecting the Dadis' highest individual award.

A process of public nominations was followed by the Digerati longlist being judged by previous and current members of the Dadi jury. The Drum Digerati will be revealed in full in a special supplement published on 15 October.
