Mediacom’s Rob Weatherhead is leaving the company to join multi-screen marketing agency Tecmark.
Weatherhead will oversee the delivery of marketing campaigns at the agency and leaves Mediacom after four years, where he was operations director at the agency’s iLab division.
He said: “Since hearing about the agency’s plans for development in the market, I’ve been really excited about getting on board. I’m really happy to be a part of what’s going to be a really exciting time for Tecmark.”
Richard Heyes, Tecmark’s managing director, added that recruiting Weatherhead was a “significant boost” for the company.
“Rob has over a decade of experience working in the digital industries and his experience will be invaluable for us as we look to capitalise on all of our multi-screen and digital marketing expertise,” he said.
“We’ve had a great year so far and our plans for Tecmark’s development and growth are big. It’s a significant boost for us to have Rob on board to help us deliver against our plans.”
Tecmark was founded in 2008 by Heyes and Kevin Jones and is based in Manchester with an office in London. It counts Paramount Pictures and Bupa among clients.
