In the new role Constantinou will oversee the marketing department, encompassing brand, product innovation, digital, advertising, social media, experiential and PR, delivering the marketing strategy and taking the business forward in the UK and overseas.

Constantinou said of his appointment: “I am very excited to be joining Addison Lee at a time when it’s broadening its market position, not only in its London home but across Europe and the rest of the world.

"Addison Lee offers the highest quality services in what is becoming an ever-more competitive market. It’s an exceptional team – 100 per cent committed to making Addison Lee the leading private hire business. I’m looking forward to joining and driving this vision forward.”

Constantinou joins a team already strengthened following a hiring drive, which began just under a year ago with the arrival of ex Vodafone commercial marketing director, Peter Boucher.

Following Boucher’s arrival Addison Lee appointed Catherine Faiers as chief operating officer following her previous role at The Trainline, and Nick Kotsis as head of data science from RSA.
