The Drum to host shockumentary screening and expert panel for Advertising Week New York

The Drum will continue its exploration of the use of shock in advertising with a panel session involving editor Gordon Young, Matt Ian, ECD at TBWA\Chiat\Day NY, Richard Kosinski, president, US at Unruly and director of illustration at Bernstein & Andriulli, Louisa St Pierre.

The panel will take place as part of Advertising Week New York on Monday 29 September, and will see them discuss the use of shock, moderated by The Drum’s editor-at-large, Dave Birss.

The session can be viewed live on Monday evening below.

A screening of The Drum’s Shockumentary will also take place after the discussion.

Earlier this month, Young participated in a Twitter Q&A discussing the topic of shock in advertising, the best tweets from which can be viewed here.

The event will take place on Monday at 5pm at the Hard Rock Café, with registrations available through the official Advertising Week website.
