Decanter promotes John Stimpfig to editorial content director
Wine magazine Decanter has promoted contributing editor John Stimpfig to the role of editorial content director.
Stimpfig, who has 20 years’ experience writing about wine and also serves as contributing editor at the Financial Times’ How to Spend It, commented: “These are incredibly exciting times for Decanter, which continues to set the standards of wine writing both in print and online.
“My job will be to try and make Decanter even better for its international readership and I’m very much looking forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead.”
Stimpfig will take up his new role on 30 September.
