Stuart Smith has been named global CEO at Ogilvy PR, replacing Christopher Graves who has become chairman of the firm.
Smith, currently regional CEO, EAME, will lead the day-to-day operations of the agency while retaining responsibility for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. He will also relocate to Ogilvy & Mather’s New York office early in 2015.

As chairman, Graves – who soon celebrates his tenth anniversary at Ogilvy PR – will concentrate on mergers and acquisitions, innovations in content marketing, new intellectual properties, and Socail@Ogilvy.
“Chris' public presence, his intellectual force and passion for innovation will make him a spectacular success in this new role,” added Young.
