eBay has paired with Secret Escapes, the flash sales website for luxury travel, for a week-long charity auction to raise money for the World Wildlife Fund.

The campaign kicked off yesterday with a Secret Escapes homepage takeover on the bidding site, and a seven-day auction for an overnight lodge experience at the Wildlife Heritage Foundation in Kent.

The campaign will also include four three-day auctions for luxury hotel stays ranging from one night at the 5-star Lowry hotel in Manchester to a seven-night package holiday to Egypt.

All proceeds from the Secret Escapes auctions will be donated to WWF.

Secret Escapes will also use eBay’s Collection tool, which lets shoppers create boards of items they want to bid on, to offer a prize trip to the Sahara Palace in Morocco for the user who creates the best ‘Secret Escapes Collection’.
