Ten brands who have jumped on the royal baby announcement: from TreSemme to WKD
Nissan was the first brand out the starting post to celebrate the announcement that Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge will be having a second royal baby.
Here, we take a look at some of the other brands who decided to use the news for self – promotion.
The Post Office
Congratulations from Post Office to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who are expecting a special delivery! #SpecialDelivery #RoyalBaby
— PostOfficeNews (@PostOfficeNews) September 8, 2014
While you were out, a baby arrived. We left it with your neighbours. TreSemme
If ‘it’s a girl’, that’s going to be one princess with some incredible hair. #RoyalBaby #ThreeWordsSheWantsToHear — TRESemme UK (@TRESemmeUK) September 8, 2014
Jumping on the #ThreeWordsSheWantsToHear trending tag and the royal baby news in one, TreSemme keeps its fingers crossed for a Rapunzel baby.
Tesco
Hearty congratulations to the Duchess of Cambridge! Here are our #ThreeWordsSheWantsToHear: “Pampers on offer.” http://t.co/FbwYrT823G

Tesco goes for two hashtags in one tweet as well. Office
Can you see the #RoyalBaby rocking these Kids @drmartens? We think so! Congrats Wills and Kate. pic.twitter.com/DupmgXcgoj — OFFICE Shoes (@OfficeShoes) September 8, 2014
If the baby turns out to be a lil asskicker, a la The Walking Dead, these shoes could come in handy. But not for a very long time.
This is the second version of the tweet. The first congratulated Harry. Clearly, Office knows something we don’t.
Innocent
There's another #RoyalBaby on the way. In true Blue Peter style, here's a royal name generator we made earlier pic.twitter.com/ZZ7WWJSLYp

Coral
We called it. #RoyalBaby pic.twitter.com/2WGhVWM18W

Coral knew it was happening, the betting company smuggly tells us all. Pizza Express
Congrats to Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge! May we humbly suggest naming the #RoyalBaby 'Pizza'? — PizzaExpress (@PizzaExpress) September 8, 2014
A baby called Pizza? We have had Apple as a celeb child, but we doubt this name suggestion will stick.
ASOS
Looks like #KateMiddleton will be rekindling her #ASOSMaternity now #RoyalBaby number 2 is on the way! http://t.co/K23GD84QV9
— ASOS (@ASOS) September 8, 2014
Before royal baby comes royal baby bump, ASOS points out. WKD

Last and pretty much least, WKD is unlikely to be the tipple used to celebrate the royal baby news.
