Halfords teams with Jodie Kidd for campaign against child car-seat tax

Halfords has teamed with model Jodie Kidd in a campaign aimed at pushing for the abolishment of the 5 per cent VAT currently added to every child car seat sold in the UK.

Kidd will work with Halfords on a variety of Autumn/Winter, Christmas and digital campaigns over the next six months.

This will comprise her supporting safety campaigns, sharing motoring advice and promoting seasonal product messages.

As part of the campaign the automotive and cycling product retailer will be selling its entire range of child car seats at zero-rate VAT prices from today, as well as gathering signatures for a petition against the tax rate.
