Vevo creates presenter-led music programme sponsored by Toyota Aygo

Vevo has announced its first presenter-led music programme, ‘VVV’.

Pronounced ‘Triple V’, the first series will include 101 episodes and looks to unify all Vevo original programming strands, official music videos and live concert footage.

Today, Friday 5 September, sees the launch of the show, with Friday shows to be followed by Tuesday and Thursday episodes.

The show will be sponsored by Toyota Aygo, as part of a wider deal, and will see the brand take full ownership of advertising around the programme with its Go Fun Yourself campaign.

Tom Connaughton, Vevo’s vice president of content and programming, international, said: “We’re very proud to be launching ‘VVV’ in the UK today and to have Toyota Aygo as the sponsor from day one demonstrates the appeal of the programme.

"We really believe that now is the right time for a presenter-led programme which can bring a voice to Vevo and that allows us share the great programming we produce. Whether you’re coming home on the school bus or on your tea break at work, we want ‘VVV’ to be music fans go-to place for regular weekly music entertainment.”

Bespoke creative for the Aygo Go Fun Yourself concept will be integrated across Vevo via pre-rolls, overlays and companion advertising all of which are optimised for mobile.

As well as episodes being available on Vevo, they are available through syndication partners YouTube, Yahoo!, AOL and Daily Motion.
