Italian telecommunications company Wind has engaged Ogilvy & Mather Italy to help it tell a story of distance and proximity.

Short film ‘Dad’ aims to remind people that though technology is amazing and convenient it cannot replace the human touch.

Telling the story of a man who decides to leave London to go and see someone he hasn’t seen in a long time because technology falls short. The film addresses a current theme – the potential consequences of increasingly relying on smartphones and technology to do all the work.

Directed by Giuseppe Capotondi the film crosses between the protagonist’s past and present to tell the touching tale.
