PPA Scotland will host Magfest, its annual magazine festival and conference, on Friday 5 September, with speakers including DC Thomson's CEO Ellis Watson.

Audra Martin, vice president at The Economist Group, Time Out group CEO Tim Arthur and Wyatt Mitchell, creative director at The New Yorker, are also amongst the names speaking at the sold-out event in Edinburgh.

When discussing the rise of native advertising, Mitchell said ahead of the event “We are changing the way that we make content, advertisers are changing the way they want to be seen next to content. I think the playing field is going to be changed entirely, everything is about to change. It’s very exciting but it’s also very unclear how everything is going to work out. We’re – along with everyone else – learning how to live amicably with all forms of advertising.”
