Ogilvy & Mather Paris awards ECD role to Baptiste Clinet calling him the "natural choice" for the job

Ogilvy & Mather Paris, the global and European hub lead for brands including the Coca-Cola Company, Dove Hair, Mondelez, Grey Goose and Nestle, has named Baptiste Clinet executive creative director.

Appointed by Philip Heimann, director general, Ogilvy & Mather Paris, Clinet will oversee the agency’s creative department and elected creative council of creative directors.

Of the appointment, Heimann said: “Baptiste’s infectious energy, creative drive and his track record of delivering big ideas on both existing and new clients, has made him the natural choice.

“We've been road testing a new creative structure and it’s proved very successful in delivering on our vision of Borderless Creativity: a global agency with French roots and savior-faire that fuels our clients' brands to transcend channels, culture and geography.”

Clinet added: “I'm proud of my background within Ogilvy that has allowed me to take this new challenge to lead a team of multicultural talents at Ogilvy & Mather Paris…This team today is without a doubt, in my mind, one of the best in the world.”

Clinet has been with Ogilvy & Mather since 2009, working on brands including Coke Zero, Coke Light, Ford, Scrabble, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Nestle.
