Kiss FM teams up with giffgaff to pay a listener's rent for a year in social media competition

Kiss FM has teamed up with mobile network giffgaff for a campaign competition that will result in one listener’s rent being paid for a year.

The ‘Your Place… Your Space’ campaign is aimed at tapping into Kiss’s 15-34 year old demographic struggling to break out of their family home because of financial constraints.

Listeners can enter by creating short-form video or posting a Twitter or Instagram along with the reason they deserve to win.

Tom Rainsford, brand director at giffgaff, said: “Rising rental costs are making it increasingly difficult for the younger generation to move out and take that step towards true independence.

“We’re aware that the financial future for many young people is unclear - so wanted to give an ambitious individual the opportunity to have their rent paid for a year.

“That way, the money saved can be utilised on doing something they’ve always wanted – whether that be starting a new business, going to university or even just put towards saving for their own place one day.”

Listeners are asked to enter using the #KISSgiffgaff hashtag.
