Dunnhumby names W to handle PR account
Customer science company Dunnhumby has appointed W as its first PR agency.
Handed the account following a competitive pitch, the agency will look to increase the reputation of the brand, which analyses data to provide personalised customer experiences.
Joe Rudkin, marketing director for EMEA and Asia at Dunnhumby, said: “Dunnhumby helps brands and retailers engage consumers and earn their loyalty, wherever and however they choose to shop or browse. Having understood our vision and impressed us with their creativity and strategic approach, W are ideally placed to help us communicate this opportunity to the brand audience they know so well.”
The agency will also be expected to raise the profile of the brand’s senior leaders.
Of the appointment, Becky Charles, head of media at W, said: “Dunnhumby has ambitious plans for the future of its business as they help brands engage with consumers in relevant and valuable ways.
"This perfectly complements the media, marketing and retail expertise within the W media team and we’re very excited to be working together.”
