Rice Krispies mixes recipes with storytelling in new app

Kellogg’s Rice Krispies has launched an iOS app with isobar, which aims to mix recipes with personalised and engaging content.

The app allows kids to go on an adventure in “Mallow Town”, where they choose a recipe and then go on an adventure with a Rice Krispies sidekick.

The video, which will see the child’s face used as a way to personalise the adventure, can then be shared via social channels.

Isobar creative director, Pierre Duquesnoy, said: “It’s great to be going beyond traditional channels to create genuinely rewarding experiences for kids and parents to enjoy together. Kellogg’s Rice Krispies enjoy a special place in families’ imaginations, and this app takes this into a whole new space, powered by technology.”

The app looks to build on the ‘Imagine That’ Rice Krispies proposition.
