Hillarys appoints MediaCom to £18m media buying account

Hillarys has appointed the Manchester office of MediaCom to handle its £18m media planning and buying account.

Taking up the account immediately, the agency will devise and implement a new media strategy for the blind and shutter specialists.

Susan White, head of online at Hillarys, stated: “Throughout the pitch process, MediaCom was able to demonstrate an unparalleled understanding of the modern media landscape, combined with an ability to deliver true value and impact, all key requirements for our continuing growth ambitions. We’re delighted to welcome the team on board, as we get set to benefit from their considerable insight and enthusiasm for the brand.”

MediaCom i-Lab, MediaCom’s specialist digital performance brand, will handle the online centric campaign including PPC, affiliates and programmatic display.

Offline campaigns such as including TV and direct mail will be handled by MediaCom.
